FineLine makes music that feels real—no rules, just inspiration. Drawing from influences like classic rock, punk, country rock, and jazz, we wrote and recorded songs that follow the feel of the music. From driving guitars and drums to touches of fiddle and vibraphone, each track uses the instrumentation that best serves the song.

Every song on Seems Like A Dream was recorded on analog tape to capture the warmth, depth, and character that only tape can deliver.

The album is completely AI-free. No AI tools, no click tracks—just live performances. The tracks breathe naturally, with the ebb and flow that happens when musicians play together in the moment.

Originally recorded in the 80s, the sonic quality of the songs were  rediscovered while transferring the master tapes to digital for archiving. Hearing them again brought back the energy of those sessions, so we returned to the studio to mix and master them at The Recording Unit.

Our goal was simple: preserve the analog spirit. The songs started on tape and were finished as close to analog as possible in preparation for vinyl and CD.
